A small VC-funded company in downtown San Jose is looking for a Full-cycle Accountant that can also help around the office (some office admin duties) in addition to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and forecast updates (primarily QB and Excel). The founders are very supportive with making sure the person doesn't get off the finance track and will hire accordingly as the company grows. They love using technology to create efficiencies, so a person who likes using tools, such as Expensify, would be ideal.
This would be great for a fairly recent college graduate who is a self-starter, can work somewhat independently, and wants to learn. This person would be reporting to me, the company's fractional CFO. I am an active California CPA with years of accounting, auditing, and operational experience, and will be actively involved with training this person.
