Our Senior Communications Manager will be the point person for ensuring our message is heard across PR and social media channels. You'll have the opportunity to craft compelling corporate strategies and then bring those narratives to life. And because we're an extremely integrated marketing team, you'll work very closely with colleagues inside and outside of marketing to make sure that our voice is amplified across all our channels, both internal and external. This is a critical role within our organization, and you'll quickly find yourself immersed in the most exciting projects within our company. Responsibilities

- Run our PR program on a day-to-day basis—working with stakeholders, managing our PR/Social agency, crafting pitches, writing press releases, bylines, blog posts and much more

- Manage and grow our social media presence—including executive thought leadership platforms, managing the agency, supporting broader marketing campaigns and much more

- Increase impressions and improve share of voice through press and social channels with compelling content, story angles, media relationships, community building, fast execution and creative ideas.

- Source, write and publish case studies—and then use those case studies to drive coverage

- Gather stories and pitch ideas from stakeholders and individuals across the company

- Work with executive leaders for interviews, speaking engagements, award submissions and more

- Conceive, build and execute multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns that drive home Intermedia's cloud communication and collaboration thought leadership position

- Represent the communications POV in cross-functional corporate initiatives

- Ensure PR hits and other forms of content are leveraged across all internal and external channels, from sales conversations to events to demand generation to social media

- Develop corporate presentations ranging from keynotes to analyst briefs to All Hands Meeting decks that embody who we are and the story we have to tell

- Maintain a database of reference customers and partners for both media and sales purposes

- Educate the rest of the company about the role of PR and social media, and advocate for how they can contribute

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of experience in PR and/or marketing communications

- Impeccable written and verbal communications skills

- Great presentation skills

- Great project management skills

- Infectious personality and interpersonal skills

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Solid understanding of media relations, content strategy, social media strategy, integrated campaigns, etc.

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

- Confidence and poise to work and establish rapport with EVERYONE in the company, including all senior executives

Desired skills:

- Familiarity with small and midsize business audiences

- Familiarity with channel-focused PR and marketing programs

- Familiarity with cloud IT and Unified Communications space

- Strong track record of placing both business and trade press stories

- Experience in both agency and in-house environments
