Our client is a thriving 10 person agency on the SF Peninsula that provides language translation, localization and interpreting services to their clients in the Silicon Valley and beyond.
The President is searching for a strong communicator who speaks native English in addition to at least one European language, and who has experience writing whitepapers, blog articles, and case studies in the technology, medical or legal field.
The Account Manager will receive in-depth training as to accounts management responsibilities, in-house project management systems, communication with clients and how to prepare quotes.
This position is also the Marketing Manager for the agency and is responsible for creating, updating and maintaining the English language website and presentation and promotional materials.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; MA/MS degree preferred
Native English with proficiency in one or more European languages
At least 5 years business writing legal, medical and/or technical industry
Experience in translation services is preferred, not required!
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Position reports directly to the President
Compensation: Base salary $75k - $85k. Health care benefits and 401K.
