Position - Senior Financial Analyst
Location - San Francisco, CA
Duration - 1 year plus
Type - Contract
Job Description
• Experience in the finance and/or insurance industry
• Proficient knowledge and expertise in the use of Hyperion and desktop information tools (e.g., Excel, MS Visio, and PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (i.e. balance sheet and cash flows)
• Working knowledge of strategic planning i.e. OGSM framework
• Use, develop, and maintain financial models/reports/scenarios and financial reference tools
• Proactively identify and analyze key drivers and cost trends
• Capability to 'tell the story' and create insightful analytics and financial reviews through dashboards/scorecards
• Research, analyze, and evaluate complex issues, data, and situations, interpret and apply laws/ regulations/ procedures/ guidelines, produce reports of the findings and outcomes, and to proactively make and support decisions, alternatives and recommendations where little previous analysis may be available
• Work independently and as a team with co-workers and management to address and resolve issues
• Adeptness to work on multiple projects and tasks and manage these deliverables
