Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a part time/remote Graphic Designer for one of our technology clients. By joining their exciting team as a Graphic Designer, you will manage and execute, from concept to finished project, internal and external video oriented projects, illustration and video graphics. You will be supported by an energetic and fantastically creative team of presenters and engineers, creating and telling the company story to customers, partners and internal sales teams. Active participation in the creative process and good ideas are encouraged.
2-4 samples of your work required for consideration.
Responsibilities:
* Design and produce still and motion graphics for final delivery over HD video
* Work effectively throughout the creative process, drawing on input from other members of the creative and technical teams. Participate in determining project objectives and needs.
* Learn and maintain adherence to company brand guidelines and standards
* Responsible for managing materials across projects, while meeting final objectives
* Create bitmap and postscript motion graphics, layered project files, image manipulation, creation of alpha channels and compositing for a video production workflow
* Be creative and willing to grow
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud graphic software suite, specific programs including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects are required. Adobe Flash or Animate a strong plus
* Some working level knowledge of a common web scripting language like JavaScript, HTML5, Action Script, or similar
* Portfolio of original work with source files reflecting the ability to work methodically and organize files logically
* Excellent communication skills to effectively determine and interpret the teams needs
* Not required, but the ideal candidate will have JavaScript and scripting skills using CreateJS code suite, specifically postscript interactive web and motion graphics experience with HTML5 Canvas
* Additional experience in 3D modeling also a strong plus
* Project management skills a plus
* Certification of formal training from a recognized institution, Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred but not required with strong portfolio and good work references
RATE:
* D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group
LOCATION:
* Fully remote/offsite/virtual/WFH/telecommute consulting. No phone calls, please.
HOURS/DURATION:
*Part time, 20 hours per week, April 3 June 30, 2017
