Solutions Marketing Manager – Big Data (Mountain View, CA)
We are looking for a Solutions Marketing Manager for a big data/high performance solution at a start up. The Solutions Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing marketing content for vertical solutions (financial services, Telco, retail, manufacturing, etc). Content to be developed will include presentations, white papers, solutions briefs, competitive battle cards, web content, datasheets, etc. Content will support demand generation and sales efforts.
This is a 40 hours per week; 3 month contract (extensions possible) role in Mountain View, CA. W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Understand vertical solutions, target customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Develop vertical specific value propositions
• Understand demand gen campaigns and what content will be useful to increase results.
• Create and write a wide range of marketing content such as presentations, white papers, solutions briefs, competitive battle cards, web content, datasheets, etc.
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience as a Solutions/Product Marketing Manager, developing marketing materials and sales enablement tools.
• Strong background in Big Data, high performance, or analytic solutions.
• Strong writing and content creation skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• BS degree in a technical field, MBA preferred
