Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for an energetic, forward-thinking Content Marketing Strategist to support our clients Marketing team by leading the development and distribution of content throughout the customer acquisition journey. This role, reporting to the head of content development and distribution will collaborate heavily across teams within global marketing to provide customers and prospects with the insights they need to be able to make informed solution decisions.
Successful candidates in this role will demonstrate their ability to define and manage strategic projects, exercise strong communication and story-telling skills, the ability to collaborate with multiple teams across marketing and understand content performance metrics to make decisions on how to optimize content strategy.
Responsibilities:
Support short and long term content strategy including vision development, taxonomy, governance, process design and quality checklists
Administer the content development and management lifecycle leveraging existing assets and new ones to deliver helpful and insightful content to customers and prospects
Create and edit high quality, engaging content in accordance with the editorial guidelines to further the collective voice of the company
Engage with demand center and program teams to recommend and deliver ideal content within unique consumption models and venues
Collaborate with the web team to leverage existing content into thought-leadership articles for the corporate website that maximize SEO and conversation opportunities
Compile business and user insights across document reviews, stakeholder interviews, content audits, content distribution review and competitive analysis to maximize the impact of content
Support and manage multiple internal and external/third party agency resources for content deliverables to keep projects on time and within budget
Proactively manage and organize a content calendar to clarify collaborators responsibilities, topics, venues and delivery dates
Understand how to measure contents performance including individual content metrics, ROI of content marketing initiatives and apply this insight into future programs and tactics
Skills:
3+ years of content marketing experience: Content creation for buyer personas and audience segments, digital channel distribution, calendar development
4+ years of experience in marketing for high-tech companies
Understands how to develop and drive a project plan, content brief, message and content mapping exercises and how to facilitate a compelling, actionable content strategy roadmap
Strong understanding of a typical buyer journey, their challenges and how to apply content to deliver insights and education. GTM experience strongly preferred.
Solid writing and editorial capabilities
Experience managing multiple content related projects simultaneously, managing review cycles, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Strong understanding of content workflow and management tools: SharePoint 365, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe tools and Kapost
Strong social media presence and experience using social channels
Basic analytical skills to develop metrics and assess content performance against the marketing goals
Excellent interpersonal skills with the willingness to educate and inform peers through workshops, content training programs and stakeholder presentations
Team oriented disposition with ability to facilitate intra-group collaboration, including with remote colleagues
Rate:
D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Hours/Duration:
Full time consulting, ASAP May 2017, with potential to convert to full time/direct employee of client upon completion of consulting period.
