Partner Operations Specialist - Level 1
Channel Impact is seeking an entry-level Partner Operations Specialist to work side-by-side with our high tech client doing opportunity qualification. This role does require being onsite with the client daily, in their South Bay office. This role will initially be a 3-month engagement with the potential to extend. If you have a winning attitude, are eager to learn and pay attention to detail, this may be the role for you!!!
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
What You Will be Doing
The client is getting ready to bring a new product to market. There will be a demand generation marketing campaign to create leads for the new product. In this role, you will be taking marketing qualified leads, and working with the sales teams and partners to turn them in to Sales Qualified Leads, via Deal Registration.
Below are several examples of the day-to-day responsibilities:
Work closely with the Channel Operations Director and the client's Channel Ops team
Handle day-to-day inflow of Deal Registration Leads, and general Channel enquiries, largely using Saleforce.com
Follow up with Partner and the client's Sales Teams ensuring timely response to Deal Registration requests
Support and suggest process enhancements, modifications and best practices development
Drive best practices for Channel engagement with the Internal and field sales teams
Promote field readiness for new sales hires and ongoing sales processes training around Channel Partner engagement
You'll be Successful in this role, with the following skills:
3+ years of experience in a Sales, Marketing or Channel operations environment, preferably in the high tech industry
SFDC Experience
Advanced MS Excel skills
A demonstrated passion for information and business intelligence
Understand Indirect Channel model and methodologies
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of urgency
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team environment
Able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency
Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce.com
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
