Position: Global Analyst Relations Programs Manager


Technology: Internet of Things


The Global Analyst Relations Programs manager will be responsible for supporting an industry-leading Analyst Relations program in the Internet of Things technology.


The candidate will be part of a larger Strategic Programs team that is responsible for 1) driving the low-touch, high impact strategy and programs that ensure Cisco's broad set of influencers globally see Cisco as the world's most important technology company; and 2) developing the strategy, processes, metrics and tools that will enable the global AR team to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible and to communicate consistently with One Voice to the global analyst community.


The successful candidate will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver programs that maximize influencer and customer awareness, consideration and recommendation in part of Cisco's business strategy, products and services globally. He/she will be responsible for executing high ROI outreach programs focused on strategic engagement with the industry analyst community across the globe along with continued evolution of programs to meet demands of internal and external clients. 


Specific responsibilities include:


• Provide programs support to the AR Team including scheduling analyst briefings, coordinating and managing events, and maintaining dashboards


• Develop strong relationships with the key influencers


• Ability to bring insight and feedback into the business to help inform strategies and decisions


• Execution of a tech AR plan that supports the business priorities and aligns to the strategic company initiatives


• Collaborates globally and transparently with AR managers in the theaters and other business areas on coordinated plans and strategies


• Collaborates closely with other Corp Communications partners on integrated plans and strategies


• Ongoing communication and measurement of programs


• Drives and reinforces best practices, processes and procedures.


Ideal candidate will have some communications background and an interest in technology and business. Candidate will manage multiple long-term and short-term initiatives simultaneously, and must possess outstanding organizational, follow up, prioritization, and communications skills. The candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines. This position requires excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across and within organizations. Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent. Related industry experience a plus.
