Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Technical Project Manager - CMS Integration consultant for our client located in Newark, CA. Technical Project Manager - CMS Integration is responsible for planning, scheduling, prioritizing, allocating resources and coordinating the implementation of a content management system with both internal developers and external agencies. The Consultant will coordinate the implementation of Adobe Experience Manager, the migration of four main sites to the new platform, and the development of new sites and services on that platform.

The successful candidate is a competent IT project manager with proven experience with enterprise scale content management systems (CMS) implementations. Additional factors for success in this role: Must be comfortable working with design/creative services (internal) clients. Move fast. Speak up. Decide and own. Drive change. Exceed customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a project dashboard to communicate status of projects

Assess risks and resource requirements

Coordinate with external agencies to address their questions and concerns expeditiously and verify that they are on schedule and on budget

Ensure that project schedules are met, monitoring and tracking the progress and performance against plan

Interface with leadership to help resolve operational issues on all new development

Skills:



10 years' proven technical project management experience in the technology sector for at least one large company

Proven success at driving complex projects to successful completion employing an iterative project management lifecycle methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.)

Strong project management, change management and scheduling skills required. Must have the ability to develop and adhere to comprehensive project timelines.

Proven experience rolling out an enterprise grade CMS tool to a large organization

Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager or CQ

Ability to seamlessly partner with both engineers and designers to assess risk, strategize and meet deliverables for projects

Process-oriented thinker, who can take a process view of overall project and articulate all required activities in a logical order

PMP/PMI certification strongly preferred

Comfortable working with a large number of stakeholders, including creative services/design teams as internal clients

Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team-oriented skills

Strong organizational skills: Thorough, systematic, orderly and detail-orientated

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

Bachelors' degree

D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group

Location:

Fully onsite at client offices in Newark, CA. No phone calls, please.

Hours/duration:

Full time consulting during standard business hours. This is a 3-month temp role starting ASAP with potential to convert full time/salaried/direct employee of client.
