Product Marketing Manager
The Opportunity (maybe once in a lifetime)
Tired of product marketing same-old, me-too products? What if you were elbow-deep in cutting-edge Artificial intelligence technology instead? Leveraging it to boost customers' lead engagement and sales? In a well-funded and exciting startup company? Oh yeah, that's located right on the mid-Peninsula with an amazingly easy commute?
Well "what if" no more. Conversica is looking for an awesome Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join the Product Marketing team. This key member of the Product Marketing team will report directly to the Head of Product Marketing and be responsible for go-to-market strategy and sales enablement of Conversica's market leading artificial intelligence solutions. Working alongside corporate marketing, product management, sales and business development, the PMM will apply domain expertise and writing skills to the creation of messaging, packaging, pricing and sales enablement tools in support of product launches, sales efforts and corporate marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities (they are many but fun)
Make our killer sales team even better, and drive market adoption of Conversica solutions, through the following activities:
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Conversica in the market (nobody offers what we do, so there's a lot of customer education involved here)
• Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan (you'll need to be super organized and a great team player)
• Market intelligence – be the expert on Conversica's buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to knock them out of the game
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of Conversica solutions to the sales team and develop the sales tools that help them unleash that knowledge and passion
• Content creation – author content (e.g., datasheets, whitepapers, web-copy, case studies, etc.), create presentations, and guide the creation of infographics, videos, podcasts, and other media (looking for super creativity and new ways of conveying info)
Qualifications (not a perfect match? sell us why you're the best fit anyway)
• 2-5 years of experience in a B2B product marketing role, ideally for sales automation or marketing automation types of products
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• First-rate project management, teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
• Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions
• Super creativity and flexibility when creating and delivering content
• Ability to work with a dispersed, cross cultural team
• Desirable experience: Startup experience, familiarity with auto sales industry
