We are looking for a Sr. Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics (FTE) for a global leader in IT infrastructure solutions. This management role's responsibilities span global strategy and processes development, marketing systems management, reporting and analytics, and budget management. This is both a strategic role and hands-on role managing a global team of 8 and partnering with the sales operations team.
This is an FTE role with the client in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
• Manage team of 8.
• Develop strategies and processes to enable support strong lead management, improved lead quality, enhanced data quality and tools and templates.
• Define 'metrics that matter' and manage the process to create dashboards and reports to measure performance.
• Actively monitor, analyze and report on marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity.
• Drive marketing database strategy: analyzing data gaps, contact acquisition strategy, practices that ensure data quality and measuring database health.
• Manage all marketing operations including Eloqua and SFDC administration, lead scoring, nurture, lead management, campaign tracking, database health, targeting and segmentation plans and alignment with sales operations.
• Develop strong relationships with the Sales Operations team leaders to ensure aligned processes and accurate downstream metrics/reporting.
• Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting process for the Marketing organization. Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate ongoing budget management.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of marketing operations experience in global B2B high tech companies.
• Prior team management experience.
• Extensive experience with marketing automation systems (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, etc.) and SFDC.
• Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail in execution. Willingness to be a hands-on leader.
• Results-driven with very strong ability to analyze quantitative data to determine program effectiveness, ROI, forecasting.
• Demonstrated results in improving sales pipeline/funnel close and conversion ratios.
• Must have budget management experience and financial analysis skills.
• Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
