Job Description:
The GL Accountant will have a hands-on approach by performing a broad range of accounting activities including but not limited to own cash, credit cards, fixed assets, and participate in month-end close along with policy and procedure improvements. Key Qualifications:
3-5 years experience
GL Accounting: Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, Balance Sheet, Allocations, A/P, Expense Reimbursements, Month End Close
Daily cash transactions, summarized and entered into the accounting system
Monthly, quarterly and year end close under the Company's financial close calendar.
Reconciliations for cash and corporate credit cards on a monthly basis as well as GL coding and appropriate department.
Identify and implement process improvements and accounting systems as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Audit of expense reports; public audits experience preferred
Great attention to detail and solid organization skills
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Education
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
