PR Specialist (Santa Cruz, CA)
We are looking for PR/marketing manager to help support PR activities for global high tech company in Santa Cruz, CA. The PR Specialist will draft messaging, press releases, interact with media outlets and executives to build awareness for the client and build their brand. This role reports to the PR Manager.
This is a 40 hours per week; 12 month role (extensions likely) onsite in Santa Cruz, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Working with stakeholders in the company, develop messaging to be employed in PR activities
• Write press releases that support company activities and messaging
• Work with executives to plan for PR activities
• Work directly with media outlets to place stories and other PR deliverables
Requirements:
• 2-3+ years in high tech PR/communications teams
• Experience with a PR agency highly preferred
• Proven, writing skills and communication skills
• Ability to interact with senior executives and external stakeholders
• Strong project management skills
