  JOB DESCRIPTION
  The   Product Manager role at Silver Tail Systems is a challenging and   rewarding role. Silver Tail is seeking a rock-star Product Manager with   experience in enterprise software products to join an elite team of   product managers. You must possess a unique   blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the   drive to make that vision a reality. This requires an extremely talented   and flexible individual with strong presentation skills, adept business   knowledge, organizational abilities, and the strength to bridge   customer business requirements, technical feature sets and broad market   trends.
  You   will develop strategic marketing plans for a product or product line   through market research, competitive analysis, pricing, customer   engagement, and business planning while communicating efficiently with   all areas of the company. You will work with your engineering   counterparts to define a successful product release. You will own the   go-to-market strategy, helping everyone understand the product   positioning, key benefits,   and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external   evangelist for your product offering, regularly interfacing with the   sales channel and key customers.
  POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
     Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
     Build amazing user experiences effectively within an   agile environment, defining priorities for your product, writing user   stories, engaging customers for regular feedback throughout the agile   software development cycle, and owning the critical relationships with   your Engineering counterparts.
     Specify   market requirements for current and future products by conducting   market research supported by ongoing visits to customers, industry   tradeshows, and non-customers.
     Provide   exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product   roadmap presentations, product demonstrations, consistent follow-up, and   on-going product consultation.
     Develop   and implement a comprehensive go-to-market plan focused on specific   target markets, including finance, e-commerce, and government verticals.
     Act   as a business resource to the sales teams, building and supporting   executive-relationships with CSOs, CIOs, and customers' Fraud, Risk, and   Security decision-makers and key technical   influencers.
     Supply our sales and product teams with the most current research and deep competitive intelligence.
  QUALIFICATIONS
     Minimum   3 years in enterprise software Product Management, with a strong   preference for experience with Security or Fraud products
     Energetic leadership to inspire our company and customers with the product vision that you will champion
     Experience with Agile methodologies, authoring user stories, integrating customer feedback
     Demonstrated success launching and managing successful products
     Hands-on technology background (security, networking, database, programming, and/or fraud preferred)
     High confidence presenting in front of customers and large audiences
     PowerPoint guru-level skills
     Strong financial and business analysis
     Excellent verbal and written communications skills
     Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
     Education: MBA (or an abundance of direct experience)
     Position requires up to 25% travel to customer and non-customer sites, primarily in North America.
