About the Role: OpenDNS is seeking talented Enterprise Account Managers that are responsible for new product sales across a multistate region through both direct and indirect channels. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing company that is focused on building a world-class enterprise sales organization to capitalize on the tremendous market opportunities for OpenDNS's solutions. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities:
- Manage, respond to, and qualify incoming leads/inquiries regarding OpenDNS´s Enterprise solution offering
- Pre-qualify leads through detailed customer needs analysis, product overview and potential solution fit. Understand strengths and weaknesses of competitor´s products to properly position and convey OpenDNS´s value proposition
- Ownership for the assigned territory quota including accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting of the business
- Develop comprehensive sales plans for the territory and execution of the plan
- Properly document and track all pertinent sales and customer information related to the opportunity and account in Salesforce.com. Identify next steps required and manage process to close
- Align with the channel team to drive end user opportunities
- Identify potential roadblocks in deals and escalate to appropriate team members
- Provide weekly sales reports to management

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, or relevant technical field
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- 5+ years of technology sales with proven history of success closing business via phone and/ or in the field
- Experience selling internet security or/and SaaS-based applications and services
- Experience working with CRM systems, more specifically Salesforce.com

Desirable, not required:
- Excellent verbal (via telephone) and written (via email) communications skills
- Self Starter / High Energy / Positive Attitude / Customer Focused
