Senior Product Manager – Application- (idéal candidate will have background working in supply chain environment, data analysis, and optimization)

Responsibilities:
This Senior Product Manager – Application must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to maximize market opportunities by supporting the definition of the core SignalDemand application. The position includes the opportunity to influence the next-generation solutions for a top-tier predictive analytics and optimization company.
The Senior Product Manager will work closely with others, both inside and outside the company, including prospects, customers, other product managers, science, software engineering, professional services, solution consultants, and technical support. The product manager is responsible for managing the full product lifecycle; from strategic planning through product development and preparation for launch through working with SignalDemand employees and partners to ensure the products and associated services are successful in the marketplace. In addition, the product manager is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of marketing and go-to-market plans and activities to promote our products and services.
Detailed Responsibilities Include:
· Engage with customers and prospects to interpret and understand customer and market requirements for SignalDemand's solutions
· Translate market requirements into detailed functional specifications
· Define, prioritize and schedule all requirements and features for SignalDemand's solutions, from interface file definition, use cases and user interaction
· Work closely with and drive collaboration across engineering, science, services and solutions consulting to ensure the product strategy and requirements are well understood across disciplines; driving success in all phases of the product lifecycle including product definition, development, testing and support
· Enable the efficient development of high-quality and relevant products by participating in release process activities, ensuring engineering understands and meets market and product requirements
· Ensure that effective product training, documentation and information is provided to services, science, support, and solution consulting
· Help to define, produce and maintain internal resources, including product demos, competitive information, presentations, descriptions of features and benefits, position papers (or white papers) and other material as necessary
· Support the development of relevant Product Marketing go-to-market and launch plans and assisting in launch activities as necessary
Minimum Requirements:
· 5+ years of product management experience or 7+ years of experience in a related area such as program management, development or software consulting
· Strong communication skills and business focus with strong analytical background
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and reliably get things done
· Ability to travel (< 25%) to customer locations, user conferences, focus groups, etc.
Desirable Experience:
· Experience with price optimization, supply optimization or pricing management
· Undergrad Degree in Business, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
