POSITION: Network Engineer
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
LENGTH of CONTRACT: 6 months with the possibility for extension
Job Requirements:
· IT Specialist with Data Center Network Engineering experience, minimum 8-10 years.
· Deep technical skills in key areas of infrastructure (systems, networking, security, storage, etc..)
· Help direct the work of others with the ability to define, document, and clearly communicate overall engineering decisions and direction.
· Expert experience w/ Cisco switching and routing platforms; engineering design for operations effectiveness in business-critical environments.
· Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a top level contributor and subject matter expert on all types of infrastructure integration.
· Gain buy in and commitment from IT/business partners; drive and facilitate standards compliance; ability to work in a dynamic, multi-vendor environment.
· Establishes engineering framework for implementing best practices in infrastructure engineering.
· Drive processes to monitor and support network and servers in a data center environment.
SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN Communications, Electronics & High Tech, or Media & Entertainment
