About the Position: The Channel Account Associate (CAA) is responsible for identifying and creating new opportunities with existing channel partners along with qualifying and prioritizing inbound leads. The CAA will manage the inbound lead activity, follow up with and qualify potential partners, set up meetings with the channel team when appropriate, and answer questions about our technology and channel programs. The CAA will also work closely with the channel team to sign new partners, prospect, and generate demand for our services.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop inbound leads to identify qualified channel partners
- Interact with both existing partners and prospects via email and phone
- Develop relationships with existing partners and execute channel awareness and lead gen activities
- Schedule and prepare for meetings with qualified partners all over the world
- Update and maintain customer information in salesforce.com and internal systems to ensure efficient partner prioritization

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of technical sales experience
- Detail-orientated, focusing on monitoring partner activity and development
- Proven track record of exceeding a sales quota.
- Ability to work in a high-energy fast paced sales team environment
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Experience with salesforce.com and/or other CRM systems

Desirable, not required:
- Experience selling cloud/SaaS services
- Understanding of DNS and related Internet services
- Previous channel sales/enablement experience
