The Role: Controller
The Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Apache Enterprises is an industry leader specializing in the design, fabrication, testing and distribution of complex replacement and retrofit components for military and commercial aircraft. Established in 1975, the company offers an extensive line of products including airframe parts, night vision imaging (NVIS) lighting systems and avionics integration kits.
Apache is seeking a hands-on Controller with solid, full-cycle accounting experience including extensive knowledge of job/ standard inventory costing methods. This position will make an immediate impact by establishing financial policies, procedures, and controls. Additional responsibilities include managing AP, AR, purchasing staff, performing monthly close procedures, and financial reporting.
Your Required Skills & Qualifications:
•You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
•You have at least 10 years experience, including full-cycle accounting experience
•You have an accounting background that is strong in job/standard inventory costing methods
•Experience working with a private equity firm preferred, but not required
•Experience working with Global Shop ERP software preferred, but not required
•You have experience preparing financial reports and financial statement analysis
•You have successfully managed a team of 3-10 employees
•You have excellent communication skills and take ownership of your work, including presenting and implementing suggestions
