As our Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Marketing Programs based in our offices in San Mateo, CA; Broomfield, CO; or San Diego, CA, you will take a customer from the start of the funnel (awareness) through to consideration of the brand and then later on advocacy for us in the digital and social space. Your ability to quickly and effectively match business needs (stage in the purchase funnel) with integrated programs and design to execute them is key.

You will work collaboratively to identify target audience, positioning, segment specific message/content to the market, voice and critical business issues, and determine the best methods to communicate in a compelling manner to the target audience.

Candidates presenting with experience in the web security industry will be highly considered as well as those who have demonstrated experience marketing consumer packaged goods, or technology products.

Responsibilities:
• Manage creation of global go-to-market plans and drive agreement on themes, market segment, audience, messaging, creative, and engagement model
• Primary day-to-day interface with digital media agency and other creative partners to manage creation and delivery of online marketing materials and campaigns
• Work with Product Marketing to develop messaging that is solution-based and focused on customer pain points.
• Ensure integration and adaptation of campaigns across all target audiences including Channel and Strategic Partners
• Coordinate campaign planning and marketing program process with Field, Regional and Channel Marketing
• Lead the cross-functional launch process for product and service introductions and inline releases
• Become an internal evangelist and expert for the consumer Internet security segment
• Provide content and create deliverables as needed
• Deliver training to internal and external audiences in support of channel development opportunities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors degree in a business or technical discipline required; MBA preferred
• 4 - 8+ years experience in demand generation (program creation and execution)
• 3+ years experience in online marketing, with a thorough understanding of all online marketing components.
• Has a complete understanding of the consumer marketing mix, as well as how the customer and channel in the consumer technology market works, thinks and is influenced
• Prior industry experience in marketing consumer-based technology, software-as-a-service and/or Internet security experience is strongly preferred
• This person must possess a passion for customers and unflagging desire to exceed their expectations
• Must be a master at creating clear, differentiated, and customer-focused product positioning and messaging.
• Must be a self-starter with proven ability to take initiative as well as balance competing priorities
• Must have excellent follow-through, be able to work with minimal direction, and balance the requirements of multiple stakeholders within an organization.
• Must be flexible and enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced environment

• Broad marketing knowledge- must possess a deep understanding of the elements of the marketing mix and how they connect to the consumer sales process
