Nikon Precision Inc. is a leading supplier of semiconductor production and inspection equipment. Nikon Precision is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Manager to join our team. This position will provide comprehensive HR support to all client groups within the company and must have a deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations. The successful candidate must be capable of working with a high degree of sensitivity and discretion coupled with good judgment and decision making skills. The HR Manager will need to have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and possess the ability to quickly and effectively handle multiple priorities and assignments.
The HR Manger will manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department and will be responsible for recommending modifications to HR company related programs or procedures to ensure compliance with governing laws. This person will administer expatriate and immigrations programs and work closely with employees on regulations and paperwork required for international assignments to and from the US. The HR Manager will serve as an escalation point of contact for complex employee relations issues and investigations. These duties require utilizing strong negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation skills to manage, advise and resolve issues. Working closely with the HR team, inside Counsel and Sr. Management, the HR Manager will enforce, review, update and create HR policies and procedures.
Other duties and responsibilities
• Proactively address HR related issues with managers and identify and recommend practical solutions/action plans to complex and diverse HR issues
• Compile and manage case study documents, accompany, advise and support managers and partner with organizations such as Legal or other involved groups on the resolution of issues
• Provide pragmatic and consistent guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, performance and other related concerns
• Liaison with Staffing on salary levels for existing and prospective employees while maintaining consistency with organization policies and market conditions
• Work closely with Payroll on the administration of payroll practices to be in compliance with new or changing legislation
• Keep managers informed and up-to-date on their duties and responsibilities around maintaining a harassment free workplace, anti-discrimination regulations, and other obligations for creating a safe and productive workplace for employees
• Partner with Benefits on the administration and maintenance of benefits packages
• Maintain compensation information and ensure compensation packages, policies, and administration are up-to-date, compliant and competitive with benchmark organizations

Education and Qualifications
• Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Preferred: Master´s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; PHR/SPHR certification
• 10+ years of HR experience with relevant HR management experience
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment law and regulations, with an emphasis on wage and hour, ERISA and employment
