Domestic Health & Welfare Benefits:
Manage self-funded and fully insured benefit programs.
Lead Merger & Acquisition due diligence and integration management
Be a key contributor or driver in gathering meaningful trend data
Develop and lead our wellness initiatives.
Project lead the impact of Health Care Reform and the steps we need to take to comply
Domestic Time Off Benefits:
Manage the LOA process
Develop training for HR and employees about how benefits and pay are impacted while on a leave
Manage Time Off policy
Manage two Short Term Disability plans including the cash flow analysis, funding recommendations, drafting mandatory notices and plan documents
Domestic Retirement Plans:
Manage Deferred Compensation Plan Committee including preparation for the quarterly meetings, drafting minutes, committee responsibility schedule, draft voting recommendations and providing Committee with documents needed to oversee the Plans
Manage partnership with recordkeeper, trustee, investment advisor and attorneys
Coordinate communication and education for all plans.
Manage annual NQDCP open enrollment including the threshold analysis and recommendation to the Committee.
Review NQDCP documents annually
Manage NQDCP key or specialized employee list
Perform due diligence on the 401(k) plans for the companies we may acquire.
Coordinate the merge or termination of the retirement plans we acquire
International Benefits:
Coordinate renewal process
Manage global broker management model
Support Global Governance Matrix
Support Pan European Risk Contract, global pooling contract and retirement review audits
Lead the global benefit M&A due diligence and integration.
Manage global Business Travel Accident and Travel Medical
Manage benefit renewals and requests for new plans
General:
Identify opportunities for improvement which will lead to successful and effective cost benefits programs.
Develop targeted and deliver employee benefit communications which contribute to employees' understanding of benefit programs
Oversee vendor customer service measures and ensure vendor performance is aligned with company expectations
Deliver outstanding customer service to employees, their families, HR business partners and managers.
Assure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Bachelor's degree
8-10 years of experience in corporate benefits in complex business environments with 5-6 years specializing in managing disability, LOA, retirement plans and health & welfare administration
Strong project management skills
Previous experience with international benefit programs
High level of benefit plan design, regulatory and compliance knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Designation from World at Work or International Employee Benefits Foundation a plus
Strong analytical skills
Ability to clearly communicate complex information
Must be able to act as liaison between Benefits, Finance, Legal & HR
