Title: Communications Specialist

Scope includes developing strategy facilitation and marketing execution planning executed across multiple media channels

- 10+ years of work experience in Communications strategy or business development, Marketing or Communication organization
- Service delivery typically requires resources with BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or equivalent plus.
- Experience designing, developing, and executing successful internal and external communications programs for large, global organizations.
- Proven experience working with multiple individuals on internal and external communication programs and success in bridging communications across several groups
- Exceptional presentation development skills, solid PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical skills, a high degree of business acumen, and executive presence
- Excellent listener
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (speech writing experience a plus)
- Ability to think through, evaluate and discuss strategic decisions
- Ability to frame, diagnose and develop cohesive plans for addressing complex problems and business issues
- Ability to execute and coordinate financial, operational and strategic analyses of current and proposed potential business initiatives
- Ability to engage in comprehensive research and analysis of potential business initiatives, often with limited direction
- Ability to develop financial models and work with complex sets of data
- Ability to effectively distill complex ideas and clearly communicate them to others
- Experience in developing presentations for and interacting with senior management
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently; comfortable with varying degrees of ambiguity
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment with multiple stakeholders and facilitate development of actionable plans with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with teams located across multiple cities and countries
- Very organized with the ability to work on and drive to completion several different projects with multiple deadlines and teams concurrently

Responsibilities:

- Facilitates strategy development, strategic execution reviews, and organizational analysis and reporting on strategic progress for multiple audiences, including external engagements.
- Creates presentations concerning organizational strategies, business plans, industry trends, specific projects/schedules.
- Responsible for ongoing strategy communications for executive and their functional area. Ensures executive, program, or functional team is aligned.
- Works as part of a global team to achieve desired results. Builds relationships with subject-matter experts and key personnel in order to create materials that successfully and knowledgeably position the executive and their organization.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Strategy facilitation:
- FY plan / roadmap
- Develop messaging platform(s)
- Metrics tracking

Strategic Messaging:
- Review content/messaging, tools/templates, VoDs, strategy website, survey, relevancy slides
- Assist VPs and their staff in understanding and communicating the FY strategy

Internal and External Influencing:
- All-hands, cross functional, organization and customer resentations
- Voicemail scripts, VoD/Broadcast planning, scripting and development
