International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Enterprise Software Sales Executive for our rapidly growing and mature start-up high tech client.
Seeking well-qualified candidates who will be responsible for western regional sales of our client's products and services across their customers' enterprise. Must thrive and excel within in a fast-paced, individual contributor demanding, and start-up multi-tasking environment. Must be a proven 'hunter' with a successful track record growing a wide-open field territory.
Location: Onsite at downtown Seattle office. Offsite flexibility after initial ramp.
Travel Requirements: Primarily Seattle, WA and Portland, OR travel, and secondarily occasional regional travel may be required.
Fulltime Employee Compensation: Depending on experience. Competitive salary and benefits.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Refine and implement aspects of western region strategic account development and management
• Position and leverage sales opportunities to grow and retain dedicated, strategic customers at all levels within their organizations
• Understand complex business needs of prospects and assigned accounts and qualify types and levels of opportunities accordingly
• Knowledge of enterprise hardware and/or software acquisition cycles and buying influences
• Experience selling software solutions to multiple divisions within a single Large enterprise customer
• Develop a working understanding of company pricing and licensing procedures
• Ability to relate technical and business needs of customer to client's solutions
• Work closely with management, engineering, and executive teams
• Create, negotiate and finalize contracts with cross-functional teams adding activities
• Ability to initiate, lead and/or delegate projects
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
•At least 7 years of experience selling enterprise class software solutions
• Knowledge and fluency of strategic sales techniques to evaluate territory and to
develop and implement a successful sales plan
• Successful track record with regional/territory sales leadership, ownership, development and results, ideally for a western region/territory
• Proven track record of exceeding quota targets in software sales
• Ability to be at customer sites 2-3 out of 5 days per week, to build rapport and work directly with customers to solve complex business problems
• Proven track record delivering multi-year, complex deals that positively impact customer requirements
STRONGLY PREFER:
• Expertise selling Predictive Analytics, Business Intelligence, and/or Big Data
software solutions
• Completion of respected sales training program(s)
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline
