Job Description



Nimble Storage is the most disruptive storage array company in history. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team.



The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining Nimble Storage products and solutions and will help shape product strategy. The PM will be responsible for identifying customer problems and market requirements, prioritizing product features and defining product roadmaps and pricing. The PM will collaborate with other functions including Product Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Technical Marketing, to help shape product strategy and refine market positioning. The PM will also be responsible for tracking relevant market trends and the competitive landscape, and for maintaining an updated competitive analysis. This individual will also work with application and infrastructure partners to create and certify joint solutions and best practices. The role requires some travel (up to 20%) to work with customers, technology partners, sales and channel partners.



Essential Functions:



- Identify customer problems in the target market segments, and translate these into market requirements and use cases



- Define and prioritize product requirements, and define product roadmaps that align with company strategy



- Understand the customer workflow in target customer environments. Identify the best fits for Nimble storage solutions as well as potential improvement opportunities



- Develop and refine TCO and ROI models for Nimble solutions. Use these insights in combination with competitive comparisons to define product pricing.



- Track and analyze market trends, the competitive landscape and market positioning of all competitors.



- Develop and maintain comprehensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of competitive products, and summarize insights in white papers, solution briefs, application notes, and presentations



- Create and deliver training content for sales engineers related to positioning and deployment of Nimble storage solutions



- Provide tactical assistance to sales teams to enable Nimble Storage to best compete in the market place, including presentations to customers.



- Continually educate the field through email, webinars and other training sessions



- Present at marketing, sales and partner events on relevant topics



- Work with partners in joint solution and integration with Nimble Storage technologies



- Drive business development efforts with strategic partners, including prioritization, partner engagement, and joint solution roadmaps



Responsibilities and interaction style:



- The tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.



- Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions.



- The individual must be capable of independently setting priorities, operating effectively and driving results without extensive supervision.



- The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor, subject matter expert and capable of influencing others by demonstrating leadership and domain expertise.



Requirements:



- Strong knowledge of operating systems and Hypervisors in particular MS Windows and Hyper-V, as well as associated management/provisioning tools and APIs (e.g. System Center VMM, SCOM, SMI-S)



- Knowledge of Microsoft applications/databases such as MS Exchange, SharePoint and MS SQL Server, particularly as related to storage, backup and DR operations for these applications.



- Knowledge of networked storage and backup products and technology (iSCSI, NAS SAN), and a good understanding of the competitive landscape



- An excellent understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.



- Demonstrated experience working with Marketing and Sales organizations.



- Candidate must have strong technical and project management skills and must be able to work cross-functionally with other development teams and partners.



- Must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills.



Education Experience:



- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a product manager in the area of networked storage technologies, with overall 10 years of experience in the high-tech industry.



- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience. An MBA is a plus



- Demonstrated experience working with early stage products, or emerging market segments is a big plus



- Public speaking experience is highly desirable.

A fast growing big data start up is looking for a contract to perm Demand Program Manager. The Demand Programs Manager will be responsible for the end to end execution of email campaigns, webinars and events to drive qualified leads.

This is a 3 month contract to potentially perm role, 40 hours per week, 2 days onsite at the client's offices in San Francisco, CA and 3 days remote. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal marketing and domain experts to devise key messaging points for lead generation campaigns.

• Manage marketing prospect lists including the salesforce.com database, internal marketing automation solution (Marketo) as well as identifying external source lists of key prospect groups.

• Manage and execute on events including conferences and trade shows, webinars, seminars and co-marketing events with partners

SUMMARY:
Office based telephonic medical case management with emphasis on early intervention, return to work planning, coordination of quality medical care on claims involving disability and medical treatment as well as in-house medical reviews as applicable to claim handling laws and regulations. Responsible for helping to ensure injured parties receive appropriate treatment directly related to the compensable injury or assist claim handlers in managing medical treatment to an appropriate resolution.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contact medical provider and injured parties on claims involving medical treatment and /or disability to coordinate appropriate medical care. Develop medical management strategy and give the provider information necessary to facilitate a return to work plan on claims requiring disability management. Responsible for ongoing evaluation of treatment and return to work plan, within established protocols.
Work with medical providers and suggest cost effective treatment alternatives, when appropriate. Help ensure that all injured parties are on an aggressive treatment plan. Authorize medical treatment and associated diagnostic testing on assigned claims as allowed by state or policy jurisdictions. For nurses handling Workers Compensation Claims, perform Utilization Review according to established guidelines. Utilize physician advisor program.
Proactively manage the medical expenses by partnering with specialty resources to achieve appropriate claim outcomes (SIU, Legal, Risk Control, Disability Management, IME and Peer Review vendors, Major Case, etc.)
Obtain medical records from providers telephonically during initial contact, and follow up with written correspondence if necessary. Discuss medical information and disability status with claim handler and integrate into overall strategy to ensure appropriateness of indemnity payments. Provide technical assistance and act as a resource for claim handling staff.
Contact employer to initiate modified duty or full return to work. Obtain job description and discuss job modifications required to ensure a prompt return to work. Medical Case Manager will work with employer, injured party, provider and claim handler to expedite return to work.
Identify cases requiring task assignments to field case managers, discuss with supervisor for assignment to Medical or Vocational Case Manager, or vendor.
Document all contacts and outcomes related to case activity in system. Submit billing reports on all activities per established guidelines.
Provide feedback to Preferred Provider Network regarding provider nominations and experience with providers.
Comply with established Best Practices
Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY:
Registered Nurse or other qualified health professionals.

CDMS, CRC, CCM, CRRN desirable

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Disability case management experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES/DEGREES:
Appropriate license per state regulation

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Very strong oral and written communication skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Good computer skills

OTHER:
Strong clinical background.
Knowledge of medical causation and relatedness, as well as use of medical treatment protocols and physician advisor/peer review programs.
