Secondary responsibility is to support VP of Sales – SIMICS.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> As an Assistant to the Senior VP North American Sales based at the Wind River office in Newport Beach, California, you will:<br /><br /> • Perform all the administrative functions required for this role<br /><br /> • Utilize excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills<br /><br /> • Act as liaison between VPs, other company executives, managers and customers<br /><br /> • Coordinate and maintain executive calendar, schedule all pertinent activities with thoroughness, forethought and logistical sensibility<br /><br /> • Coordinate key events such as internal regional sales meetings and external customer events<br /><br /> • Provide VPs with assistance in preparing reports and presentations<br /><br /> o Manage DAILY sales forecasts utilizing Salesforce.com, MS Excel, and other CRM and productivity tools<br /><br /> o Coordinate and develop ad hoc business reports<br /><br /> • Provide VPs with assistance in data entry/data validation within CRM tools<br /><br /> • Work with Sales Finance to validate renewals<br /><br /> • Work with HR business partner and internal sales recruiter to facilitate hiring process and address other personnel issues as they arise<br /><br /> • Assist executive in quota allocation and Annual Operating Plan<br /><br /> • Facilitate communications to and from the Regional VPs <br /><br /> • Work to understand Wind River's business, products and customer markets<br /><br /> • Efficiently manage and coordinate simultaneous projects and activities that ebb and flow, requiring efficient time management and an extreme sense of urgency <br /><br /> • Engage professionally with customers in person and over the telephone <br /><br /> Requirements:<br /><br /> • College experience plus minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative capacity; <br /><br /> • Experience supporting a sales executive responsible for leading a team of sales professionals involved in selling software solutions, dealing with issues around software licensing (both perpetual and subscription based models), quota setting/achievement and forecasting<br /><br /> • Prior experience working in a sales environment, providing administrative support at the leadership/executive level<br /><br /> • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, solid Outlook and Word skills<br /><br /> • Working knowledge with CRM tools (Salesforce.com OR related apps like Siebel) <br /><br /> • Strong aptitude for adapting readily to web based tools such as JIVE, Webex, Clearslide <br /><br /> • Excellent oral and written skills and strong attention to detail<br /><br /> • High-energy individual with a can-do attitude<br /><br /> • Strong in multi-tasking; ability to prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment<br /><br /> • Proven skills in project management and event coordination<br /><br /> • Experience coordinating complicated travel arrangements <br /><br /> • Demonstrated self-starter who can work with minimal direction<br /><br /> • Independent worker and good interpersonal skills for effective teamwork<br /><br /> • Proficiency working with numbers<br /><br /> <br />(v1.06 - 1410809108)
