Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Event Registration Manager for one of our technology clients in Santa Clara, CA. The Event Registration Manager will own the registration components for our clients' large scale user conference. Candidates must have hands on experience with Lanyon (formerly ACTIVE Network and WingateWeb) events registration platform/solutions in order to be considered. <br /><br /> To sustain our client's explosive growth, we are looking for drivers—people who thrive on accountability and live for the next big challenge. The ideal candidate will bring along and implement a set of known best practices for managing all aspects of large scale conference registration. <br /><br /> Seeking an Event Registration Manager who excels in a rapidly growing marketing organization with few structured processes in place. Must be highly adaptive, self-directed, remain calm under pressure and have a sense of humor to be successful in this role. <br /><br /> Specific responsibilities: <br /><br /> Own the events registration components of a large scale user conference and other events <br /><br /> Provide updates to Program Lead and gain all appropriate approvals based on their guidance<br /><br /> Along with Program Lead, co-manage registration aspects of program: set up weekly registration meetings that provide agendas, status report overviews, meeting notes and action items to appropriate team members<br /><br /> Partner with Program Lead to execute registration program best practices and project manage milestones for registration system paths, groups, pricing and promo codes<br /><br /> Work with technology team members to set up registration system and create necessary reports<br /><br /> Interface with internal stakeholders and collaborate on the processes and registration workflows and development<br /><br /> Define and deploy program objectives as well as communicate the policy regarding employee, partner, customer and complimentary conference passes and prospect passes<br /><br /> Work with program lead to define, develop and deploy all onsite registration programs including: registration location, design and implementation of flow for attendee experience<br /><br /> Assess the promo code strategy to enhance the user experience; manage all attendance types, including collaborating with clients' internal constituents to create the appropriate targeted promotions to meet attendance goals<br /><br /> Oversee the timelines associated with the release of each attendee types' registration workflow<br /><br /> Enhance the registration schematic and plans, provide guidance on the overall user experience to approved onsite registration vendor <br /><br /> Project management of Employee Staffing Management portal; collaborate and ensure that stakeholders are on track with milestones from other portals <br /><br /> Manage all vendors related to the registration portion of the program, including consultants and agencies<br /><br /> Manage and provide guidance to vendors for all updates and changes to pricing materials and models, convey all related promotional codes to registration vendor, as well as provide appropriate measurement data to Finance for monthly and weekly reports<br /><br /> Manage all budget line items associated with the registration portion of the program and provide status to program lead weekly<br /><br /> Create trend reports in Excel; administrative work opening purchase orders, etc.<br /><br /> Partnering with Program Lead, provide operations support for targeted and ancillary events<br /><br /> Provide support with projects to other event team members as necessary<br /><br /> Skills: <br /><br /> 6-7 years' experience setting up conference/event registration systems for large scale technology <br /><br /> conferences<br /><br /> Solid, hands on experience with Lanyon registration conference/events platform/solutions (formerly known as ACTIVE Network and WingateWeb) is required <br /><br /> Familiarity with how to function in work streams<br /><br /> Experience managing multiple projects, timelines and deadlines<br /><br /> Must be a self-starter, not afraid to ask questions and have the ability operate/navigate with little direction<br /><br /> BA in Event Management, Operations, Marketing or similar strongly preferred<br /><br /> RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available<br /><br /> LOCATION: Onsite at client's headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.
