The Event Marketing Operations Manager will provide event marketing operations expertise and will project manage the mobile applications and website components for our clients' large scale user conference and other ancillary events. <br /><br /> Seeking an Event Marketing Operations Manager who excels in a rapidly growing marketing organization with few structured processes in place. The ideal candidate will bring along and implement a set of known best practices for enhancing event attendees' digital experiences. Must be highly adaptive, self-directed, remain calm under pressure and have a sense of humor to be successful in this role. <br /><br /> Specific responsibilities: <br /><br /> Partner with Program Lead to support Event Operations/Marketing for large scale technology user conference, targeted user group events and internal/employee events<br /><br /> Partner with Digital Marketing Director, acting as project manager for all aspects of event mobile applications: <br /><br /> * Content: Exhibitor material, floor maps, agendas, session locations and times, speaker profiles, presentations, PDFs, slide shows, images, videos, etc. <br /><br /> * Integration: Ensure event apps sync with event registration systems, corporate website, event-specific pages and event sponsors' websites<br /><br /> * Engagement: Manage mobile app integration with clients' preferred social media platforms (Facebook, twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) to enable easy attendee networking and content sharing including chat, photos, notes, 1-on-1 meetings <br /><br /> * Interaction: Gamification of event app to drive attendee behavior and reward participation, conduct session Q&A within the app to reach more attendees, run live polls to gather real-time perspectives and share results instantly<br /><br /> * Personalization: Enable apps to deliver a richer experience and more value for event attendees, including syncing schedules and contacts with personal calendars and address books<br /><br /> * Measurement: Manage performance and optimization of app analytics including attendee tracking, poll and survey results, click through rates, etc. <br /><br /> Project management of client's events specific websites, drive to requirements and milestones<br /><br /> Ensure all cross-functional teams and programs are in sync for website updates and email deployments <br /><br /> Partnering with Program Lead and other Event team members, provide operations/marketing support for targeted and ancillary events<br /><br /> Skills: <br /><br /> 6-7 years' experience in Event Marketing; working with large technology user conferences, user group meetings/events<br /><br /> Technology savvy: Experience project managing event websites and event mobile applications is required. <br /><br /> Must be able to make minor event website edits HTML<br /><br /> Experience with Lanyon conference/events platform/solutions (formerly known as ACTIVE Network and WingateWeb) and/or QuickMobile strongly preferred <br /><br /> Familiarity with how to work in work streams<br /><br /> Strong project management capabilities: Must be able to prioritize against multiple/concurrent projects, timelines and deadlines<br /><br /> Desire and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; detail oriented, well organized with the ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment<br /><br /> Must be a self-starter, not afraid to ask questions and have the ability operate/navigate with little direction<br /><br /> BA in Event Management, Operations, Marketing or similar strongly preferred<br /><br /> RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available<br /><br /> LOCATION: Onsite daily at client's headquarters in Santa Clara, CA plus one week onsite at event in Las Vegas, NV mid-April 2015.
