GiftedandTalented.com is recruiting for a junior role of Marketing Specialist with 1-3 years of experience in San Mateo, CA. You need the unique combination of passion, desire and skill and work ethic to market GiftedandTalented.comand learn on the job --you���ll learn more in a couple of months than most people do in a year.
The Marketing Specialist will participate in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, social media, and offline marketing efforts targeted to parents of gifted and talented students (K-12), both domestically and abroad. But we are more than just online courseware. We especially want someone who cares about education, about our youth and helping those who are the world���s future leaders and innovators.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assisting with the development and execution of online marketing programs that support new customer acquisition goals from inception through post-campaign analysis.
Monitoring and optimizing paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management, etc. across FB, Bing, Adwords, etc.
Writing website content to improve SEO rankings and drive higher content and validity scores on Google, Bing and Yahoo.
Work with graphic artists writing ad copy, wireframing ads, and managing assets.
Identifying marketplace trends and recommend changes to improve conversions
Implementing email-marketing campaigns to existing customers for renewal and upselling as well as potential customers.
Assisting with social media marketing strategy on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube and others.
Creating and curating content for our online community for the world's brightest students and those aspiring to academic excellence.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor���s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field
An affinity for the excitement and challenge of working in a startup environment
Minimum 1-3 years' online marketing experience
Experience with Google AdWords, Bing and Yahoo Search Marketing, FB advertising, affiliate marketing and email marketing
Social Media experience
Solid grasp of online marketing and SEM optimization best practices
Experience in the education sector preferred but not required
Exceptional communication, organization and presentation skills
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Sense of humor important - we���re building a world class team that works hard and has fun
Willingness to fail, learn, succeed. Repeat.
