Shutterfly is the leading Internet-based social expression and personal publishing service offering products through our family of brands including Shutterfly, Tiny Prints, Wedding Paper Divas, and Treat.
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media, reporting to director of social media, to drive and implement social media strategy and best practices for our various brands.
Responsibilities:
Implement global social media strategy and best practices across various platforms and social communities (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Video/Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)
Manage and mentor a team of marketing managers who are driving social media initiatives across all our brands
Develop and implement creative and highly measureable social media programs or campaigns
Own the acquisition of fans and followers on different social channels and drive paid and organic programs to grow our fans and followers
Drive app development on social media channels to drive and engage customers on our sites and through these apps
Define and lead social media video creation and distribution to help with customer and fan acquisition
Own and update social media dashboard across all brands and report success and lessons learned
Be the interface between social team and our 3rd party agencies and partners
Track progress with regular reporting on social feature performance including engagement, conversion and traffic growth
Identify opportunities, trends and features in the social media space and social graph and is aware of new levers to test. Justify investments in new social media trends through business metrics and optimization and testing across all brands.
Drive social media integration across our sites, pre, during and post purchase, leveraging social graph. Identify opportunities and work with Product management teams to drive the integration of social shopping and social features across our sites
Establish, track and assure adherence to budgets, launch schedules, campaign and marketing objectives
Key Skills and Experience
5-7 years of hands on marketing experience with 3-5 years people management experience
Highly innovative individual with strong business acumen with proven track record of identifying, testing and launching new social programs
Experience in social media and online marketing channels
Experience running, measuring and optimizing paid programs on Facebook, using their latest ad products and on Twitter, using promoted products
Experience growing and fostering blogger communities
Able to demonstrate how social campaigns deliver impact to broader company business and marketing objectives
Experience with SEO and SEM a BIG PLUS.
Experience defining and driving successful social shopping across various brands a plus.
