Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Content Project Coordinator for our technology client based in San Francisco, CA. The Content Project Coordinator will partner with the Sr. Content Marketing Strategist who leads strategy and planning and work closely with multiple content producers from a variety of cross-functional teams and external vendors.
This is not a content writing role; it is a strong project coordination role where you will be responsible for maintaining a content marketing calendar, tracking projects, driving content production schedules and the content review/approval process.
The ideal candidate has a strong process orientation and exceptional project management capabilities. Must be adaptive to changing workload/priorities with the ability to work across many different teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
Manage the content production process and maintain editorial calendar and production schedules to meet content marketing deadlines
Update the team weekly on content activities through meeting round tables and a Friday email recap
Regularly interface with Group Product Marketing Manager, Campaign Marketing Manager and other internal subject matter experts; manage kickoff meetings to put content projects into production
Manage content review and approval processes
Manage deliverables: Production tracking and schedules, content playbook (tone, voice, guidelines, workflow and governance), managing the delivery of content briefs and sharing content insights
Collaborate with the Sr. Content Strategist on content topics and planning content projects
Solicit feedback from cross-functional teams and geos to implement content recommendations and production
Work closely with writers, agencies and with Social, Product and other teams who generate content
Review content to ensure quality and accuracy
Leverage libraries of content created by other teams
Decipher analytics into actionable content insights and socialize findings
Skills:
1-2 years combined work/internship experience production-heavy content/marketing project management/traffic management
Technology company experience required
Ideally some experience in a corporate/enterprise or startup environment
Exceptional project management skills: Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work, maintaining flexibility with changing projects and fluctuating deadlines
Must be highly self-directed with internally driven workload prioritization skills, organized, a great communicator and deliver on deadlines
Must work effectively across functional teams, be a good problem solver, be flexible, have the ability to build relationships and be a team player
Solid editing skills
Experience working with third party vendors preferred
Established relationships with writers and content creators a plus
Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, self-direction and drive
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and SharePoint for collaboration
Bachelors degree or related area of study
Preferred skills (not required):
Passionate about creativity, design, problem solving and enabling designers to make an impact
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps
Knowledge of AP style guide
Art direction experience
Rate:
D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location:
Four days per week onsite at clients office in San Francisco, remainder offsite/virtual/WFH/telecommute. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration:
Full time consulting, ASAP- ongoing.
