Manager, Global Analyst Relations
Fortinet (www.fortinet.com) is the industry leader in the hottest segment of the network security arena. We're a fast-growing public company (Nasdq: FTNT) that is in a prime spot to capture media attention. We're seeking a strong professional to drive global analyst relations efforts to promote the company and its products to influencers worldwide. The manager will manage the day-to-day AR. Successful candidates will possess an ideal mix of technical aptitude, professionalism and social skills to engage with and gain respect from the analyst community, C-level executives, sales, technical and finance executives.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and drive global analyst relations strategies to increase brand awareness for Fortinet and its products
• Build Fortinet's presence with industry influencers
• Continue to advance Fortinet's corporate and product positioning in reports issued by top tier market analyst firms
• Produce and/or edit AR content including presentations, research notes, speaking submissions and other related materials
• Drive and manage worldwide AR activities for new product launches while working collaboratively with the product marketing team
• Source and secure awards and manage usage
• Work collaboratively with marcom to manage Fortinet social media presence as well as create sales tools based on analyst reports and engagements
• Execute AR reporting and measurement programs
• Manage AR budget and vendor relationships
Requirements:
• 10+ years corporate or agency high-tech AR experience, including experience in the security or networking sectors
• Successful track record of building brand awareness for companies via industry influencers and research coverage
• Successful track record of engaging industry analysts and influencing company and product positioning
• Outstanding writer who can develop compelling and technically accurate materials
• Established rolodex of contacts within the business and trade media, along with demonstrated success in executing media relations
• Proven team leader, comfortable and successful with interacting with senior executives and divisional managers
• Technical aptitude for understanding security features and product functionality and translating to powerful messaging and content
• Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience executing international AR programs and/or managing international employees
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications or marketing
