Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager-Email campaigns for a leading technology partner in San Jose, CA. The program manager will partner on strategic planning and drive production and execution of email programs. This is a hybrid strategic and execution role.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist in and ensure the completion of the strategic planning phase, but will also be the primary execution resource for these communications.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborating and working effectively across multiple teams, including product teams, Campaign Marketing
and Engagement Marketing to plan and schedule email, desktop and mobile app marketing
communications.
* Work with internal and external creative agencies and business unit stakeholders to produce, review and
finalize email templates and communications.
* Work with analytics and database teams to structure and define complex e-mail list requests, including
data segmentation to ensure the audience criteria meets the program goals.
* Oversee the end-to-end production and implementation of each communication. This will include tasks
such as kicking off projects in a project management system, managing timelines, testing emails,
monitoring post-send performance and identifying opportunities for process refinements.
* Work closely with the worldwide field teams to ensure emails are localized with available and relevant
country-specific content.
* Work closely with the analytics team to ensure timely and accurate reporting on all programs.
* Work closely with other Engagement Marketing colleagues to manage the frequency and relevancy of
communications to the audiences.
* Analyze primary indicators such as unsubscribe, open, clicks and orders of communications to drive
revenue, ensure the marketable universe remains healthy and to help advise on overall communication
strategy.
Specific Knowledge Skills:
* Expert-level experience in creating and delivering emails to worldwide audiences. This includes managing
email development milestones, setting up email tracking, and testing emails.
* Expert-level experience in either overseeing email deployments on a service platform such as Adobe
Campaign, Exact Target, Eloqua, or Responsys, or directly deploying emails on this type of service
platform.
* Intermediate-level or greater experience in data and analytics. Ability to analyze data and pull out relevant
insights that lead to hypotheses for improving performance and that inform overall strategy. Analytics
performed in MS Excel so creating pivot tables is a MUST.
* Intermediate-level experience in working across multiple teams to achieve program objectives.
* Experience in defining and ensuring implementation of email program tracking to gain key insights for
program optimization.
Education:
* Minimum BA unless applicant has 5 years of applicable experience.
