We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager for a global IT company. This role will develop social media strategy for one product group, execute the strategy and analyze and report on the results. The goals for this role are to increase brand awareness, drive engagement with customers and influencers, and drive traffic to the client's web properties.
This is a 3 month (extensions possible), 40 hour per week role onsite in Palo Alto, CA. This is a w2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities
• Develop the product group's social media marketing plan, in alignment with the overall corporate/global marketing plans.
• Develop a social media calendar, social objectives, messaging, and write posts
• Execute the social media calendar by posting relevant content to relevant social media platforms (Twitter - Primary and Linkedin - Secondary).
• Manage day-to-day proactive and reactive engagement on Twitter and Linkedin
• Monitor customers' social conversations, summarize learnings and disseminate to inform decision making.
• Report monthly/quarterly metrics collected from a variety of tools/systems; and ascertain required actions to improve metrics and social media efforts.
Requirements
• 3 + years experience in social media marketing at large B2B high tech companies
• Proficiency with social media management platforms and social listening tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present plans/ideas
• Experience with metrics reporting and analysis for continuous improvement
• Bachelors degree
