Channel Impact is seeking an HR consultant who is available immediately to work side-by-side with our high tech client. In this role you will translate business strategy into talent management and inclusive leadership strategy as a leader and trusted advisor with HR, Diversity and Inclusion & Collaboration (I&C) expertise and perspective.
You will act as a trusted counsel and advisor to the businesses in the region to design a value-driven model that identifies the key drivers of highly inclusive and collaborative organizations, enabling the creation of innovative approaches (mindsets, skill-sets, toolsets) that unleash the true power of diversity and inclusion through collaboration. You will also collaborate and partner with the client's HR Business Partners, Functional I&C Business Partners, Solutions and Centers of Excellence to implement solutions and deliver services aligned with priorities of the region, functional businesses and the client's corporate-wide HR I&C strategy.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact. This engagement is a three month project. The ideal candidate will be located in the Central or East Coast regions of the US.
What you will be doing:
-Partner with senior management to develop and translate business strategy to talent management and inclusive leadership strategy and coordinate implementation
-Understand the client business including specific opportunities, gaps, and challenges that are relevant to diversity in the Business, Function or Region and instill a highly inclusive and collaborative environment
-Increase awareness, coach and provide counsel to executive and senior management teams
-Drive change management initiatives with a focus on shifts to culture, leadership and management requirements, and systems and processes
-Engage in strategic workforce planning
-Collaborate with Centers of Excellent and the internal client interface to implement and deliver HR and I&C solutions and services in support of business objectives and ensure accountability and adoption
-Leverage and integrate I&C solutions to reinforce company-wide HR and I&C strategy: Workforce planning, Career Development, Talent Review, Employee Listening Surveys, Recruiting, Transformational Practices, Thought Leadership, Market Acceleration, etc.
-Drive consistent execution of a repeatable, 3-part process (metrics, planning and accountability)
-Manage planning to ensure a global plan is in place
-Develop and maintain strong interlocks and partnerships with the HR Business Partner, I&C program and process SMEs, client business leaders and inclusion leadership teams
-Foster an environment that enables and engages the business, function or region in full spectrum participation (through mindsets, skill-sets and toolsets)
-Measure and monitor progress on metrics that drive accountability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree – MBA or Master's Degree preferred
- Certified PHR – I&D Certification preferred
- Cisco HR experience
- Ability to facilitate change management and innovation within a high performing organization
- 5+ years executing and implementing I&D programs
- 5+plus years of experience partnering with executive level stake holders within a complex matrixed environment
- 8+ years of HR experience or equivalent experience in roles of increasing complexity/scope
- 8+ years of I&D experience or equivalent experience creating and driving I&D strategies including talent acquisition, leading change and driving engagement and cultural shifts

- Results-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, acutely responsive to the needs of the business with strong sense of organizational navigation and political savvy
- Strategic Thinker – agility and in-depth knowledge of the business to decision-making
- Collaborative – willing to engage a full spectrum of experts and stake holders in the process of driving new value through thought leadership
- Client/Account Management – able to impact, persuade, enroll and provide coaching to clients; able to support Executive Development efforts and to implement accountability measures that drive results
- Analytical – able to interpret existing data sets and leading indicators in the process of exploring new hypotheses and theories. Able to design new qualitative and quantitative studies
-Executive Presence – effectively engage and interact with all levels -- from senior executive levels of management to entry level
- Change Leadership – ability to impact, persuade, and enroll others in transforming - creating new strategies, mind sets, skill sets, and tool sets
