JOB FUNCTION

As Product Marketing Manager, you'll have ownership of all inbound and outbound marketing activities for the Equilar Insight family of products. You'll craft the messaging and positioning to appeal to top corporate executives, institutional investors, and human resources professionals. You´ll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand for Equilar's flagship product. Think you can do it? Read on.

Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the innate ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are critical components for success in this role. You will be the expert in buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel. Do you have what it takes? Read on.

This position initiates, manages, and measures marketing programs that include web campaigns, email campaigns to increase sales conversions, AdWords programs, webinars, and customer events. This position is highly visible as it sits at the core of our go-to-market initiatives, and requires coordinating the ideas and deliverables of the Products, Research, and Sales departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive demand through email, website, webinars, events, press, and social media.
- Track and analyze campaigns to optimize the communication methods, timing, and tools.
- Amplify our messaging with strong writing skills to create a leadership position in new markets.
- Collaborate on the design, messaging and execution of effective events and demand generation programs, including channel and partner marketing.
- Increase size and quality of opt-in email subscriber lists.
- Utilize SEO and SEM techniques to improve Equilar's organic search ranking and drive leads through effective pay-per-click (AdWords) campaigns.
- Generate collateral and sales tools to increase sales conversion rate.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Successful candidates will have the following traits:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially with regard to prospects, clients, partners, and the Company's senior management.
- Proven track record of success in marketing at start-ups or small companies experiencing rapid growth. Experience successfully running marketing campaigns yielding measurable positive results.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to learn, adapt, and process new information quickly.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to multi-task and manage projects of varying complexities.
- The ability to communicate deadlines and influence others to adhere to timelines.
- The capacity to persuade others and the willingness to assist others in the execution of their projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of professional experience with a focus on marketing or communications.
- Understanding of the role of marketing, including email, SEO/SEM, social media, blogs, and emerging technologies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct reports, but as a senior member of the team the marketing manager is expected to assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.
