Would you like to develop and deliver a global social media strategy? Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time/permanent Social Media Strategist for our client Lexmark, located in Lexington, Kentucky. Our ideal candidate has expertise in social media/new media and has a proven track record of solid new media content development and program execution.
Are you passionate about social media? Are you captivated by the communication potential inherent in digital space? Are you a highly creative individual accustomed to infusing your programs with fresh ideas and perspectives? We are looking for a confident, flexible social media guru with exceptional interpersonal skills. Understanding of the enterprise B2B technology market space is required.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement the global social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure program effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media best practices
* Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities, including online advocacy and development of program content
* Set and monitor benchmarks to measure impact of social media programs. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to Senior Management
* Continually modify programs in response feedback to maximize effectiveness
* Serve as a leader, subject matter expert, and influencer for all issues associated with social media marketing. Regularly exhibit thought leadership on social media marketing and related topics
* Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
Skills:
* 5+ years' experience developing social media or new media strategies and program content for B2B technology companies
* Proven experience creating, implementing, and evangelizing programs for social media across multiple geographies
* A solid grasp of social media platforms/technologies such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs and YouTube
* Understanding of the effect of social media on the customer experience, brand perception, and synergies with other online vehicles (inclusive of online advertising, email, paid search and affiliate marketing
* Ability build and maintain relationships and effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
* Good technical competency + ability to quickly pick up new tools
* Knowledge of SEO principles
* Confident, diplomatic and credible presence for partnering with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Experience with Eloqua a plus
* BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, PR or similar
Rate: D.O.E. as a full time, permanent employee of client
