Our client is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven marketing director with creativity and passion to lead and drive our expanding marketing team.
The Role:
The Marketing Director is a start-up role for our client North America, reporting directly to the Global Marketing Director.. As the most senior marketer in the region, this person must provide marketing leadership in the US to help the team continue to build our client position in the market as a leading supplier of information management solutions. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on marketing director role.
The Marketing Director will work closely with their own team, as well as the company’s sales, CTO, solution development teams and industry specialists in the US and across the world. They will also develop strong relationships and opportunities with key industry thought leaders, customers and partners.
Scope
Devise and deliver high value strategies, campaigns, events and content to build Our client position as a leading provider of information management solutions
Be responsible for all North American marketing programs – including customer and partner marketing, trade shows and custom events, online and social media campaigns, as well as product and solution Go-To-Market process
Drive the development of high value content, tools and training to align sales with product and solution marketing strategies and campaigns
Develop and deliver creative strategies to raise our profile and reputation and create demand for our client in targeted vertical markets and within targeted communities
Manage a team of people (currently 2 based in LA) and grow the team to meet our client expanding business needs.
The Candidate
· You have a proven flare for hands-on, collaborative marketing management
· You are a clear, strategic thinker who is results-driven, but not at the expense of company values
· You have designed and delivered a wide range of successful and measurable B2B technology marketing programs
· You have an ability to multi-task, manage and collaborate within a flat organization which is geographically dispersed (globally and within the US)
· You are an excellent communicator – including researching and writing marketing collateral and materials and overseeing the development of high calibre white papers, videos and multimedia content from scratch
· You can engage with customers, partners, journalists, analysts and the client team in a way that is intelligent and effective
· You enable your team to execute excellently on your shared ideas and plans, including delivering on time and on budget
· You are flexible and able to travel around NA and overseas (APAC and Europe)
· You have a marketing degree or equivalent
· You are passionate about the potential of information management technology
