Senior Advertising Manager
As an industry pioneer, Brocade Communications, Inc. is leveraging its market and technology leadership in helping shape the evolution of the networking market. Effectively communicating Brocade´s vision and direction through high impact advertising will be a critical success factor. In support of this objective, we are seeking a senior advertising manager who can partner with our agency and internal stakeholders to deliver an effective, highly integrated advertising campaign that will increase awareness for Brocade as a networking provider.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of a global advertising campaign.
• Stay in constant contact with our support network of agencies to ensure campaign is optimized, effective and running smoothly across all mediums.
• Articulate and champion the Brocade advertising campaign strategy and dependencies to multiple constituents in other departments.
• Work closely with the channel and field marketing teams to execute and manage integrated campaigns to ensure complete alignment across the different groups.
• Proficient understanding of advertising metrics associated with digital campaigns and able to represent them to executives.
• Develop standardized reports and metrics that align to the company's awareness goals.
• Provide oversight of the advertising budget, which includes multiple agencies, creative production and media.
• Manage the creative development process for campaign. Able to determine tactical from conceptual feedback when reviewing creative.
• Identify subject matter experts and engage them as needed.
• Oversee and actively participate in the Global Communications marketing planning process.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
• Experience as an Account Supervisor or higher at an advertising agency.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications, as well as time management skills.
• Must be able to ramp up quickly on new technologies and competitive landscape.
• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• 12-15 years of experience in advertising
• Candidate must also have a solid grasp of business fundamentals that impact the IT industry
• The position requires the ability to translate complex technical issues into relevant and easy to understand concepts
• Strong writing and presentation skills required.
• Comfortable with technical and business English usage (documents reading, e-mails, conference calls)

Physical requirements
• Frequent use of mouse and keyboard
• Frequent phone usage
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
