This individual will work on new projects from concept to commercialization and be responsible for defining, analyzing and implementing system requirements and risk analysis, leading project critical design reviews, and partitioning design between different functions.

They are not looking for someone who has designed boards. They are looking for someone who can take the different pieces and make sure it all works. Ideally looking for people from low noise systems companies - MRI, CAT scan, Ultrasound companies. These companies take systems and turn them into something, ideally using magnetics and tracking devices so they can draw the image to see where the signal is coming from.

·         Documents system architecture and design control elements by writing documents, reports, and memos.

·         Works with Regulatory and Quality teams to establish release and development process for the project.

Required Skills and Competencies:

·         BS Degree in engineering – Advanced degree preferred – Non-Research roles.

·         5–8 years of experience within the Medical Device industry

·         Proven experience in leading projects from a system level - Technical HW experience in digital and analog low noise systems is preferred.

·         Medical Device experience working with imaging and signal processing systems

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Experience programming in C++ - a plus

·         Experience using Matlab to conduct simulations/analysis

Quality System Requirements:
