Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist Manager / Content Architect for our client based in San Jose, CA. The Digital Marketing Strategist Manager / Content Architect will create and execute a life cycle communications strategy on Eloqua
Our clients communication strategy is both direct customer and through a partner to provide transformational experiences for their customers. Our client is continuing this innovation by transforming the way they execute digital marketing with and through customers and partners to orchestrate the customer/partner experience online to drive engagement, revenue and adoption.
This Role will create and lead a global initiative to deliver relevant, personalized, data-driven digital experiences across digital channels (web, social, media, mobile, data, point of sale, etc.) for our clients customers and partners.
You are a savvy Digital Marketing Manager / Content Architect who is seeking a consulting position with global reach and influence. You have demonstrated the capacity to lead teams to achieve significant goals and know how to effectively rally and diplomatically influence others. You execute with what you know to answer questions you cant stop asking. You are an Eloqua or Marketo expert and are anxious to build, develop content and execute a digital communications strategy. You are an amazing writer with the natural ability to write in a variety of styles to appeal to identified personas. You can deliver insights by analyzing digital marketing campaigns and optimize execution in real time.
Responsibilities:
Assess and conduct a gap analysis on existing digital marketing strategy
Deliver a comprehensive set of digital media strategy recommendations that align corporate and division business goals, creating a unified digital marketing approach
Lead the development and execution of a new/transformational communication strategy for automating engagement and customer experience through digital channels and connecting those experiences to key business outcomes
Develop and evolve the lifecycle and persona-based communication requirements for digital engagement platforms for customers including marketing databases, marketing automation systems, data management platforms, content management platforms and web personalization
Create and optimize compelling content that drives desired responses
Work globally with regional Field Operations, Data Scientists, Marketing and Customer Success teams to align and execute a single plan
Educate internal constituents on the business value of the digital communications initiative, its goals and achievements
Work with Digital Strategy and Analytics teams and/or vendors and consultants to implement customer digital marketing to a variety of personas
Partner with the Global Operations organization on business requirements, content marketing strategy, governance and business process
Measure customer engagement, make data driven decisions, optimize execution based upon insights
Skills:
10+ years experience in the marketing realm with 3-5 years experience creating and leading digital marketing technology/automation initiatives for at least one B2B enterprise technology company. Previous experience working at Cisco is strongly preferred.

Eloqua expert in lead scoring, designing complex nurture campaigns and managing marketing automated campaigns
Marketing Operations Leadership
Develop a strategy for integrated digital marketing
Experience building business cases, strategy and alignment for global programs Comprehensive understanding and ability to implement proven best practices of digital marketing technology platforms and architectures and content marketing
Expertise in Eloqua (preferred) or Marketo implementation
Experience developing closed-loop, metrics-driven campaigns scoring lifecycle stages, customer / buyer personas, engagement, real-time personalization online, etc.
Good grasp of the end-to-end requirements for orchestrating a positive customer/partner experience online including audience strategy, content marketing strategy, technology requirements, and measurement/optimization
Knowledge of/experience with Salesforce/CRM systems
Experience managing and segmenting marketing databases
Strong knowledge of how to create a compelling and innovative online customer journey Experience with developing customer personas, outlining buyers journey and developing content plan accordingly
Strong writing skills:
Create various types of content that will increase our clients digital footprint, facilitate movement along the buyers journey and support customer and partner success Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional/global teams, regional Field Marketing, Operations, IT
Experience directing vendor or consultant relationshipsExcellent interpersonal and influence skills. Must show up as an expert, voice opinions based on prior best practices as well as data driven results. Ability to navigate differing opinions with professionalism.
Must be able agile and thrive in a highly dynamic work environment undergoing transformational change. Must be able to switch rapidly from strategy to execution. BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
