.The new Senior Product Manager is responsible for initiating all efforts that define effective product management including: new product conception and definition, customer feature customization, and product development life cycle management. FleetUp uses an agile software development methodology, employing user stories as a primary communication of requirements definition.

 Primary responsibilities:
• Define product features using user stories, interacting with engineering to ensure correct development of these features, and introduce them to the market on schedule

• Launch new products into targeted market segments and manage the life-cycle of products.

• Serve as the company's source of knowledge and analysis for information related to market/technology trends, industry expenditures, market sizing (addressable and total), competitive analysis, product position and pricing, as well as defining optimal distribution/sales channels

• Grow strategic accounts by working closely with the Sales organization. In most cases this will require product customization for the customer.

• A customer focus: listening to and acting upon our customers' needs and desires by specifying the features needed to win and hold the customer's business. 

• Working with VP, Worldwide Sales to develop product sales strategies which define product market share

• Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing ROI analyses; establishing development schedules with engineering.

 • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.

Qualifications and Experience requirements:

• BSEE CS/MS or equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years in Software Product Management

• MBA preferred

• Product Management experience in Web and Mobile Applications, Fleet Management or GPS tracking

• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

• Analytical and strategic thinker with ability to execute

• Demonstrated success in the conception and launch of new products and marketing programs
