Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Marcom Program Manager for our client based in Santa Cruz, CA. The Marcom Program Manager is the go-to person between the internal client and the Marcom and Production teams.
The Program Manager is responsible for understanding client requests and developing comprehensive creative work requests and timelines, prioritizing and tracking projects, ensuring all projects adhere to brand guidelines, and that completed jobs are posted to the appropriate locations. The Program Manager will also provide suggestions for continuous improvement of best practices to ensure maximum utilization of resources.
Responsibilities:
Act as primary point of contact for person requesting a project and intermediary between Marcom and brand production
Create creative work requests (CWR) by working closely with and gathering input from requestor
Ensure project briefs are fully completed before commencement of work by identifying and proactively filling gaps (track down relevant project-related assets, proactively seek information to fill in gaps, include project specs, etc.)
Proactively think through project request holistically and identify additional needs and resources (e.g.: email would require Marketo, possibly additional materials, etc.)
Prioritize projects (including all associated elements) based on level of complexity and due date< Coordinate with brand production and brand creative to kick off and produce. Handle kick-off meetings as necessary.
Develop timelines and lead day-to-day management and optimization of all assigned projects including coordinating approvals with key stakeholders
Ensure quality, adherence to brand and messaging, voice/tone Constantly monitor and proactively report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Gain strong understanding of brand standards and project deliverables
Ensure post project information is complete and uploaded (Source, OpenText, need to post to the collateral library). Monitor and refresh as assets change (updates/replacements.)
Monitor and ensure materials on the collateral library are current and print volumes are sufficient
Track all projects, current and completed
Look for ways to create efficiencies in process or gaps and actively communicate to Director of Brand, Production and Identity
Skills:
Minimum 3 years proven marketing communications program/project management experience for at least one technology client. Global experience a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills, positive, energetic and open minded
Resourceful, detailed and organized. Must be able to prioritize projects with minimal direction.
Strong work ethic and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong data/analytics skills
Ability to look at everything being created to ensure consistency up, down and across all assets created
Ability to prioritize based on business need vs most vocal or demanding internal client
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or similar
RATE:
D.O.E., as w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)<
LOCATION/HOURS:
Must be able to align work hours to 6:00am-2:00pm (PST) to align with European counterparts work hours. First half of workday offsite/remote/virtual/WFH/telecommute. Second half of workday onsite at clients office in Santa Cruz, CA. (Onsite afternoon hours required only 3-4 days per week.) No phone calls, please.
