Institute on Aging (IOA) is seeking a dynamic and growth oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO). The COO has a primary responsibility for executing the organization's strategy as it relates to programs and services with clear accountabilities that attract and inspire great talent for the organization. Preferably the COO will have experience in healthcare, however this is not required. The COO will report directly to IOA's CEO and have overall responsibility for the operational success of a comprehensive array of services and programs. The COO makes a critical impact by ensuring the organization's programs and services are operationalized with excellence as measured by key performance indicators.
IOA has made a tremendous impact in supporting the lives of seniors and their families in the communities they serve. IOA is in need of a leader that can build on their foundation and aid in more than doubling in size and scope over the next 3 years. This position is based in IOA's San Francisco corporate offices.
Qualifications:
Deep professional experience overall including a minimum of five years experience in leading seasoned, senior team members with multi-site, multi-program responsibility.
Educational background to include an undergraduate degree and an MBA or similar advanced degree.
Strong relationship builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams, developing an organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engaging community partners, and partnering with a CEO and Board of Directors.
