Summary:
The UX/UI Engineer will help design and development of engaging user experiences.
You are a great communicator with individuals at all levels in an organization and are a strong team player. You partner well with your cross-functional teammates and are comfortable working in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
· Create and design compelling interactive experiences including websites, mobile applications, and other digital applications.
· Execute all design stages through the full design and development cycle (including idea creation, visual design and interaction design). Deliverables will include wireframes, design comps and workflow/interaction diagrams.
· Conduct cross-functional design reviews for design concepts, from initial wireframes and design comps through implementation.
· Conduct or assist Product Management in executing user testing of current and future designs.
· Effectively communicate with developers through implementation phase to realize design vision.
· Help develop and maintain design library for consistent design.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Art / Design, Human Factors or equivalent experience
· Skills in problem solving, creativity and interaction design
· 2-3+ years direct experience in UI/UX Design with a focus on web applications
· Full Stack or Front-End Development experience
· Experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
· Experience with React.js, Redux.js & Node.js Required
· Experience with agile development processes
· Clear understanding of usability, user-centered design, accessibility and web standards
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
· Experience in mobile design/development a Plus
