Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for an Event Marcom Manager to be part of the team that launches our clients' new corporate event. The Event Marcom Manager will help shape the marketing communication strategy and drive marcom deliverables for this newly launching corporate event. This contract role in the Brand and Creative Services team requires experience in large scale events and a solid understanding of integrated events marketing, planning, implementation and measurement. 


The candidate must be a team player who works collaboratively with cross functional teams to lead and implement impactful, all-encompassing event marketing strategies that align with corporate objectives. In addition, this role will help support other Brand and Creative Services team projects as needed.


Responsibilities: 


Drive development and tracking of the strategic event marketing communications plan, including objectives, strategy and execution of the external communications to support audience acquisition


Manage event deliverables and timelines which include: external event website, internal event resources site, pre-, during and post-event communications, event collateral, booth displays, event signage, event videos, branding/templates. Understand company's brand/product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on brand messaging in these deliverables at events.


Drive engagement with internal marketing disciplines including: Web marketing, brand and creative services, corporate communications, social media team, field marketing 


Contribute to event team to support and execute on deliverables aligning with overall event targets and goals


Partner closely with external vendors, including key contacts at our event management company


A Articulate and evangelize the vision and direction of event objectives and goals to all levels of the organization


Drive post-show evaluations and reporting


Support other Brand and Creative Services projects, as needed


Skills: 


5-7 years event management/marcom for events experience, including the enterprise technology industry.


Experience working in a similar role for a large event is a big plus to better support team and fulfill ad hoc assignments to support event


Event audience acquisition experience required


Superior project management, attention to detail and organization skills


Ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting priorities


Exceptional written and oral communication skills 


Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams


Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple vendors


Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environment and make quick decisions


Ability to work in a geographically-dispersed, global organization


Experience using collaborative project management tools like Workfront


BA in Marketing, Communications or related field

D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)


Location:


Fully onsite at clients' office in Santa Clara, CA. 


Hours/Duration:


Full time consulting, June 6 – November 3, 2017.
