Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Events Manager consultant for one of our high-tech clients located in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role will work on a team to lead the marketing communication strategy and drive marcom deliverables for high-priority corporate trade shows and events. The position can be 100% remote if the consultant has a wired home office. 30% travel may be required. <br /><br /> Please note: This is not a Tradeshow/Event Manager position. Must be a senior Marcom Manager with enterprise company background, with proven experience developing integrated marcom plans specifically for tradeshows and events, then executing against those plans. The Manager will have proven success creating and driving the strategies for digital marketing and social media communications as part of the IMC, and have hands on experience with at least one enterprise marketing automation solution (Eloqua preferred).<br /><br /> Responsibilities:<br /><br /> Partner with cross-functional team consisting of: Event Strategy, Engagement Managers and Event Program Managers for strategy and execution of all event marcom deliverables for high-priority corporate trade shows and events <br /><br /> Participate in the Event Experience Design (ED) and execute against the blueprint defined by the event strategy lead<br /><br /> Bring to the table a deep understanding of marketing automation and how to segment and target audiences by profile<br /><br /> Drive development of the strategic integrated event marketing communications plan, including: objectives and strategy, attendee profile, audience acquisition strategy, and internal and external communications plan. <br /><br /> Create and manage integrated marcom campaigns (Communications, PR, Media, Digital Marketing, Social Media)<br /><br /> Facilitate strategic conversations with Sales and Field marketing to support the development of sales engagement campaigns based on customer behavioral data and analytics<br /><br /> Gather content, create original content and manage review cycles for internal and external communications<br /><br /> Manage and drive program deliverables which may include: internal and external web pages, social media, communications, pre-event and post-event communications, direct mail, event collateral, booth digital displays, and speaker presentation formatting<br /><br /> Manage creative vendor(s)<br /><br /> Develop and drive event marcom program timeline and manage marcom event budget<br /><br /> On-site management of marketing communications programs as needed<br /><br /> Post-event analysis/post event report<br /><br /> Skills:<br /><br /> <br /><br /> 7-10 years of marketing communications for events experience working for at least one enterprise B2B technology company<br /><br /> Ability to develop strategy, as well as flawlessly execute integrated marcom plans<br /><br /> Strong understanding of how marketing communications strategy is applied for trade shows and large-scale events required<br /><br /> Experience with development and execution of social media and digital strategies as an emphasized aspect of overall integrated marcom campaigns<br /><br /> Understanding of the creative process<br /><br /> Understanding of large, complex organizations/companies <br /><br /> Have a proven ability to drive projects forward in a rapidly changing environment with a strong emphasis on virtual team working and conference call meetings; Ability to work independently and be self-directed <br /><br /> Proven experience in engaging and developing collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders<br /><br /> Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills<br /><br /> Ability to travel 30% required.
