Essential Functions:
Sybase Unwired Platform:
- Install and configure Enterprise Server and Sybase Relay Server
- Deploy and manage Mobile Business Applications
- Create and configure User Devices for native applications and workflows
- Administer Unwired Server security features such as users, roles, usage of encryption and authentication on listeners, etc.
- Set up domains, security configurations, SAP SSO, and consult as to security provider options
- Apply performance tuning techniques
- Troubleshoot environment
Sybase Afaria:
- Afaria Installation and Configuration
- Afaria Server and Administrative Console Configuration and Management
- Afaria integration with Exchange and Lotus Notes Infrastructures
- Profile and Policy Creation, Deployment, and Maintenance
- Inventory Manager and License Manager Configuration
- Document Manager Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance
- Backup Manager Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance
- Securing Remote Data using Data Security Manager
- Configuring Devices from Configuration Manager
- Enterprise Deployment of Software to Mobile Devices
- Afaria Session Manager Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance
- Afaria Server Monitoring Setup and Management Techniques
