Responsibilities for the Marcom Specialist
- Provide executive communications support to the Vice President of Advance Solutions and senior staff.
- Assist in the development of strategic communication plans supporting the initiatives of the business.
- Design, develop, and deliver strategic, operational and program related communications supporting department initiatives and programs.
- Develop and deliver collateral, presentations and content in a variety of mediums to support the communications needs of the organization.
- Drive and maintain content for intranet including success stories, business collateral, and announcements.
- Support planning, communication and execution of departmental training and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations (PR), English, Journalism or Business.
- At least 5 years' experience in Corporate Communications or Marketing Communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing communications programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work.
- Experience supporting the software industry, software development, and / or energy related business is highly desirable.
- Highly effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization from senior level executives to all other employment segments.
- Advanced degree in Business is a plus
